Our Pastor

   Pastor Kyle Ohsfeldt is the youngest son of Jim and Barbara Ohsfeldt and grew up in Moore, Oklahoma.  His family attended First Southern Baptist Church (Del City, OK) while he was a child and teenager, and it was in 1986 that he accepted Christ as his Savior as a result of the ministry of Pastor Tom Elliff.  At the age of 18, his family moved their membership to Southwest Baptist Church (Oklahoma City, OK).  It was at the age of 19 that he was called to preach under the ministry of Pastor Sam Davison.  In 1994, Bro. Kyle began studies at Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri and graduated in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Pastoral Studies.  After graduating from BBC, he went on staff at Eastland Baptist Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma and served as Mission Intern for two years under the ministry of Pastor Dave Hardy.   Bro. Kyle and his family moved to Pampa in November, 2000 when he was called to be our pastor.  He and his wife, Suzie, have been married since June, 1995 and have three children: Nathan (daughter-in-law; Hannah), Hannah, Leah (son-in-law; Camron), and one granddaughter Elizabeth; as well as their "other son", Raul.

As pastor of Grace Baptist Church, I would like to thank you for visiting our website.  If you would allow, I'd like to take a minute of your time and tell you a little about our church.  Grace Baptist was established in 1977 under the leadership of Ed Korsmo.  In November of 2000, my family and I moved here from Tulsa, OK and I assumed the pastorate position.  In the years that God has allowed our family to be here, we have seen many great things take place and trust that God will continue to bless.  Admittedly, our church is not large (averaging around 65) and, as such, we are unable to offer programs that other churches may.  However, I assure you, we are a church who cares about one another, who has a burden to reach the lost and hurting souls of our community, and effort is made each week to address the needs of daily living through the preaching of the word of God.  I invite you to attend any service you may desire, and please know, it would be an honor to have you.
